I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a focus in child and adolescent mental health. I have a passion for helping individuals understand and build on personal strengths while addressing challenges. I believe that taking an honest, directive and nurturing approach is the key to successful treatment. The most predominate therapeutic modalities used are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Art Therapy, Behavioral and Psycho Educational. Over the years I have worked extensively to find unique ways to adapt some of these common therapeutic approaches to meet the developmental needs of children and adolescents. Currently I am exploring the ways women can use EMDR to address beliefs that are presenting challenges during the prenatal, birthing and postpartum phases of their motherhood journey.

My areas of clinical interest are Perinatal Mood Disorders, Trauma, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Learning Disorders, Attachment Disorders, Behavioral Issues and Social Skills Impairments.  I enjoy working with clients in both an individual, family and group therapy setting.

Outside of my private practice I have had extensive clinical experience working with youth, adolescents and their families in wilderness therapy programs. This background has given me tremendous experience in diagnostic evaluation, creative treatment planning, intensive family therapy and successful work with resistant clients.
